Builder of choice for their new Headquarters
ITC is the nations first independent electricity
transmission company delivering reliable energy service at
reduced costs to over 4.9 million Michigan residents.
Located at the southeast corner of Twelve Mile Road and
M-5. The six-story building will consist of 147,000 square
feet of office, a 3-level parking structure and a 41,000
square foot control room.
The Office Tower will be constructed with a curtain wall
glass and glazing system that offers optimum natural light
for an open office setting. It is efficiently designed with
three compact Gen2 Gearless Traction Elevators that travel
350 feet per minute for smooth and quiet performance. A
State of the Art Underfloor Air Distribution System has a
raised floor design allowing improved indoor air quality,
and ultimate comfort levels for its occupants, while
providing a 20-30% total energy savings vs. traditional
overhead systems.
The facility has the capacity for 450 employees. The
Office area includes a Cafeteria, a large Auditorium,
numerous conference rooms and a Dry-Cleaning pickup area.
There is also a Connector Area from the Parking Deck into
the Office Tower, which enables the employee’s efficient
access into the building.
The site plan was designed and approved by the City of
Novi for an identical Office Tower and 4-level Parking Deck
for future growth.
“We’re incredibly excited to begin construction of a new
home for our dedicated employees, “ said Joseph L. Welch,
president and CEO of ITC. “We are proud to be a part of the
Novi community, and honored to be a growing company in the
state of Michigan.”
Completion date of this facility is expected to be in the
spring of 2008.
